Jeanne Jackson, and Mercedes-Benz AG’s Vice President of Communications and Marketing, Bettina Fetzer.
This pivotal moment in the company’s trajectory was marked by Moncler’s Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Remo Ruffini, who expressed gratitude to departing board members Nerio Alessandri, Virginie Morgon, and Stephanie Phair for their exceptional contributions. Maria Sharapova, renowned for her illustrious tennis career, has expanded her entrepreneurial footprint by launching the premium confection line Sugarpova in 2012. Additionally, she has invested in various companies such as Tonal, Therabody, Public.com, and Bala. Sharapova’s interests extend beyond sports and business, encompassing a passion for design and architecture, as evidenced by her furniture collection in collaboration with Rove Concepts.
Jeanne Jackson, the CEO of MSP Capital, a private equity and consulting firm she founded in 2002, brings a wealth of experience to the Moncler board. With a diverse portfolio, she has served on the boards of Monster Beverages and Delta Air Lines, and previously contributed to the success of companies like Walmart.com USA, Banana Republic, and Gap. In the fiscal year ending December 31, 2022, Moncler Group achieved remarkable financial milestones, surpassing 2 billion euros in revenues—a substantial 44% increase from the previous year’s 1.4 billion euros. Notably, sales for the Moncler brand experienced a 27% uptick, reaching 1.8 billion euros, and reflecting a 14% growth compared to 2019. The Stone Island brand, consolidated for nine months (April to December 2021), recorded revenues of 221.9 million euros, marking a significant 35% increase, totaling 310 million euros for the entire fiscal year.
